About me
Welcome! I am a Geospatial Scientist dedicated to applying remote sensing and machine learning to agriculture, environmental conservation, and natural hazards. With expertise in advanced geospatial analytics and data science, I design and deploy cloud-native, scalable solutions that transform raw earth observation data into decision-ready products.
Currently, as a Research Assistant at the Geospatial Sciences Center of Excellence (SDSU), I focus on advancing high-throughput crop phenotyping. By integrating multiscale, multimodal data from ground, UAV, and satellite platforms, I build deep learning models and automated pipelines that bridge the gap between raw imagery and actionable agronomic insights through collaboration with agronomists and plant scientists.
Previously, at the Geoinformatics Center (Asian Institute of Technology), I coordinated technical teams to leverage Earth observation data for disaster risk assessment and environmental monitoring across diverse landscapes.
I hold a bachelors degree in Geomatics Engineering from Tribhuvan University and an M.S. in Geography - Geographic Information Science Specialization from South Dakota State University. My goal is to develop efficient, reliable, and repeatable workflows that solve complex spatial problems at scale.
Beyond the Lab When I’m not optimizing spatial workflows, you’ll find me distance running, exploring mountainous landscapes, or spending quality time with friends and family.
